How schedule answers are built

Methodology

CurbCalendar prioritizes official local sources and shows only the schedule precision those sources support.

Official sources first

We prioritize city, county, public works, sanitation and other official local service sources. Source information appears with supported public schedules so you can see where the answer came from.

Verify before publishing

A source record is not automatically a public schedule. CurbCalendar checks whether the information is current enough, scoped to the right place and structured clearly enough to support the statement shown to a visitor.

No guessed dates

If an official source does not support an exact date, service area, holiday change or other detail, CurbCalendar shows a lower-precision answer such as appointment required, seasonal, unavailable or not published instead of silently filling the gap.

Freshness matters

Where supported, public utility pages show source or verification timing. A page can be withheld from search or temporarily unavailable when its official-source evidence no longer meets the publication rules.
